July 2014 – Week 4

Whew — what a busy week!  We spent most evenings working at the Flip House, and had a “work day” all day Saturday – so there were MANY pics of friends and family helping with demolition, tree trimming, uncovering the disgusting pool, etc.  We were also able to squeeze in some family time this weekend – so, of course, there were several adorable pics of our precious “P”.   However, I decided to share this picture I snapped on our way home from church.  After a week like we had, in the midst of all the busy-ness and craziness of life . . . it’s important to notice and appreciate the beauty all around us.  It doesn’t get much prettier than this!

Psalms 19:1 - "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork."
Psalms 19:1 –

May 2014 – Week 3

It was bound to happen eventually . . .               The only pic I have to share this week is one of my silly SnapChats!    If you haven’t noticed, I’m a bit obsessed with SnapChat!  (See “Shameless Selfie SnapChat Fun” to the right of the screen.)   Throughout the week, I share random silliness with my favorite people scattered across the country — sisters, friends, nieces, and nephews.  You’ve got to admit, it’s a fun, silly way to stay in touch!

Proverbs 17:22 - "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."

May 2014 – Week 2

My hubby and I had a crazy, “rough” week.  An unexpected death of a sweet friend, stresses, deadlines and responsibilities . . .  So, Friday afternoon, I got a text from my hubby, “Meet me at The Fishouse”.  Sometimes a delicious meal with friends, lively conversation, and a fun movie is just what you need to regain some sanity.

1 Corinthians 10:31 - "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."
Isaiah 40:31 – “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
